Last night was such a beautiful night. I really think evening devotions every night is helping our team understand each other and get along better, if not only for a couple hours. Last night was especially moving; I very much know God was there. Everyone was singing their lungs out to the God who is love and darkness had fallen making the stars enthralling. As we sang and thinking through the day’s events of the day, and I suddenly knew that this is where God wants me to be and that I always want to be in step with Him. The stars and moon here cry out to praise God here in a way I have never seen before.

Church was a lot different than I expected. The music is unorganized. A bass and electric were about to blow out the little amp. They all move and clap on every song. While we “performed” I was captured by how big the children’s eyes here are. They are deep, gorgeous, and I cannot imagine what they have seen and will see.
